שמחת תורה

Simchat Torah 2028

The day the yearly reading of the Torah ends and begins again, with the scrolls carried round in dancing.

In 2028 it falls on Thursday 12 October in Masorti (in Israel) and Reform practice, and on Friday 13 October in Masorti (outside Israel) practice.

Like every day of the Jewish year, it begins at sunset the evening before.
