Version 1.5

Version 1.5 is a maintenance release.

Fixes

  • Account: sign-out is now scoped to the device. Local data is cleared; the iCloud record and the reserved username are retained and restored on the next sign-in with the same Apple ID. The iCloud record belongs to the first Apple ID that signs in with it; a different Apple ID on the same iPhone keeps its data on the device and cannot overwrite or erase the owner's. Delete Account continues to erase both.
  • Prayer windows (Sunni, Shia): a prayer stays open from its start time until the end of the day, so a missed prayer can be recorded as qada. Prayers whose time has not yet begun remain locked.
  • Prayer windows (Shia): availability now follows the combined prayer times (Dhuhr with Asr, Maghrib with Isha), the same schedule used by the prayer screen, reminders and widget.
  • Compass: heading updates now redraw only the compass instead of every screen observing location, reducing latency; needles take the shortest rotation when crossing north.
  • Streak badges: fixed-width capsules and consistent numeral alignment across all tiers.

Improvements

  • iCloud sync: saved places and pilgrimage progress now sync, merged per item with the most recent change taking precedence, so removals carry across devices.
  • Terminology: faith (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) and branch (e.g. Karaite, Catholic, Shia) are used consistently throughout.
  • Calendar: one layout across all eight branches; the season panel removed from the Christian calendars and the fasting panel from the Orthodox calendar, as both repeated information shown elsewhere.
  • Prayer (Christianity): unified labels across Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant; book and psalm counts derived from the loaded canon.
  • Profile: the join date now reads "ActivePray member since".

Design

  • App icon and in-app praying figure regenerated from the original vector artwork, in the exact brand colour, with a larger figure on the icon.
  • Two new Active+ alternate app icons: Wolf and Solar.
