ربيع الأول
Rabiʿ al-Awwal 1449 AH
The month of the Prophet’s birth, kept as Mawlid an-Nabi by many: on the twelfth in Sunni reckoning, and the seventeenth in Twelver Shia.
Begins on Tuesday 3 August 2027 and runs 30 days, to Wednesday 1 September 2027.
Projected from the Umm al-Qura calendar, as ActivePray reckons it. A Hijri month truly begins when the new crescent is seen, so it can open a day either side of this. Like every day of the Hijri year, each day begins at sunset the evening before.

The White Days
Three days of recommended fasting each lunar month, the Ayyām al-Bīḍ, when the moon is full. In Rabiʿ al-Awwal 1449: Sunday 15 August 2027, Monday 16 August 2027 and Tuesday 17 August 2027.
In ActivePray, the Hijri date stands at the top of every day, with each prayer at its hour and the holy days and fasts of the year, in Sunni and in Twelver Shia practice.
