Leviticus 25:1 – 27:34, with the haftarah Jeremiah 16:19–17:14.
In 2028: Shabbat 20 May 2028.
Two portions read together, as the year’s Shabbatot require: Behar and Bechukotai.
The first verses of the portion. Hebrew: the Miqra according to the Masorah, via Sefaria (CC BY-SA). English: JPS 1917.
And the LORD spoke unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying:
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.
The portions read the Shabbat before and the Shabbat after, in the Diaspora. Masorti and Reform read the whole portion each week, or a third of it over three years on the triennial cycle; the portion is the same.

Numbers 1:1 – 4:20
In ActivePray, the week’s portion stands on the Prayer tab with its haftarah, in Hebrew beside the English, and the whole Tanakh to read on.
