عيد الأضحى

Eid al-Adha 2027

The feast during the Hajj that remembers Abraham’s readiness to give up his son.

In 2027 it falls on Sunday 16 May, in Sunni and Shia practice alike.

Like every day of the Hijri year, it begins at sunset the evening before. Hijri dates are projected, and may move a day once the new moon is sighted.
