صفر
Safar 1448 AH
The second month. In Twelver Shia practice Arbaeen, the fortieth day after Ashura, falls on its twentieth.
Begins on Wednesday 15 July 2026 and runs 30 days, to Thursday 13 August 2026.
Projected from the Umm al-Qura calendar, as ActivePray reckons it. A Hijri month truly begins when the new crescent is seen, so it can open a day either side of this. Like every day of the Hijri year, each day begins at sunset the evening before.
